York Region District School Board is one of Ontario’s top ranking public school boards. Located in York Region, it is one of the five districts making up the Greater Toronto Area. International students from around the world can choose full-year academic programs (elementary or secondary), or short-term programs such as the Summer English Language Academy or Winter
Outdoor World Camp. Some of the facilities available to students include:

Accommodation

York Region District School Board operates a personalized homestay program. Accommodations are are available to international students 12 to 18 years of age who wish to live with Canadian families during full-year, or short-term studies. Students are provided with a private bedroom, three daily meals, shared bath and a safe and secure environment. Through daily interaction with Canadian families, students improve their English and learn about the customs and culture of Canada.
