Peel District School Board

The Centre for Education & Training offers language and educational programs for youth. High school aged learners may enroll in a
Canadian public school for a minimum of one year. Canadian schools are dynamic and exciting for the youth of the 21st century.
Learners can study English and become world citizens through an immersive multicultural learning environment that fosters tolerance and understanding. The International student program enrolls students from grade 6 to 12. Students are accommodated in homestay settings or with relatives.
Students are given an assessment in English and mathematics upon arrival so that they may be placed appropriately in their school curriculum. The schools offer 5 levels of ESL instruction for both landed immigrant and International students. At present, International students are able to select from one Middle School (grades 6-8) and 8 High Schools (grades 9-12).
The students who attend our schools represent the broad spectrum of people and cultures who are native to Canada or who have chosen to live here. Our educational system is rated highly by the students and parents who are part of our schools.
