Accommodation
All of our students are required to live with a homestay family during their entire time enrolled in our educational program.
Home stay is more than just food and a room. It is a chance to
take part in all aspects of family life and Canadian culture. Our
students repeatedly tell us that they feel they really do have a
“home away from home” and a connection with their warm, caring,
Canadian family. All of our homestay families are carefully
screened to ensure the best possible experience for our students.
A staff of 4 homestay employees for the school district do the screening, interviewing, a home inspection, and ensure that a criminal record check is complete for a family is placed in our database to await a match with a student. Families provide furnished private rooms, meals, and the opportunity for students to practice their English language skills with native speakers of the English language.
Activities
All full year students in our program receive a free activity pass of their choice to be involved in some sort of afterschool activity.
