School District 18 is pleased to welcome International students from countries all over the world to study in our schools.
Our 2 CITY High schools , Fredericton High school and Leo Hayes High School offer the very best of academic programs rich in a diverse selection of COURSES combined with many extra-curricular activities and clubs. Both Fredericton High school and Leo Hayes High School have populations of approximately 1800 students, which gives you the feel of any large High School in Canada but in a small and safe city rich in culture and beauty.
Our RURAL High Schools , Stanley High School and Central new Brunswick Academy provide an experience that many International Students from large urban areas with millions of inhabitants can only dream of. Small schools which range in size from 125 to
350 students offer the opportunity to know everyone by their name and experience learning English form very caring and thoughtful teachers. This rural experience is something to be treasured.

Activities
The schools of School District 18 offer a full complement of sports teams for both boys and girls that participate take in a highly competitive provincial sports organizations. We are home to nationally recognized musical bands and drama clubs. They also offer a
large selection of recreational clubs so that students form all countries can interact.
