Location

Okotoks, located in the heart of the foothills country, is an outdoor place located 15 minutes fro the city of Calgary (1.2 Million people). The area is known for its alternating terrains of discovery reveal rivers, valleys, meadows and mountains. You can enjoy the quiet serenity of museums, libraries, the cultural centre, or the pristine Sheep River Valley. For the more adventurous, there's fishing, hiking and numerous other outdoor activities. The world’s largest glacial erratic rock is found just 8km from the city centre. Okotoks is derived from the Blackfoot First Nation work for “rock” and thus the city is often referred to as Rock City.

Accommodation

We have a warm environment in a modern setting in all our communities. We attempt to include international students in home with a Canadian student of the same age. Our families are young professional families ranging in age from 30 to 50 years of age. All homes are equipped with Internet and other technologies.

Activities

All schools offer a full range of extra-curricular activitie including skiing, outdoor education, all gym sports, fine arts and local cultural activities such as horse backing riding.
