Canadian Rockies Public Schools

The Canadian Rockies Public Schools is located in the Rocky Mountain serving the communities of Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise, Exshaw and Kananaskis Country.
International Program students use state-of-the-art technology to enhance learning. Mathematics, Science, Language Arts and Technology courses use modern computer labs and fully equipped workshops. Our high quality academic programs are enhanced with a wide variety of programs in the arts, music, technology and sports. Our schools have fully equipped gymnasia with weight training facilities. Our physical and outdoor education programs utilize the community swimming pools, golf courses, curling rink and the Canadian Rockies for climbing, hiking and outdoor education.
Extra-curricular activities include football, track and field, basketball, volleyball, outdoor education, hiking and camping, golf, curling and hockey.

Life with homestay families affords a rewarding cross cultural experience. The families and school authority plan outings and activities with the international students. Our academic and homestay counselors strive to ensure that students are successful in their studies and comfortable in their home setting.

Banff/Canmore are home to many quality recreation facilities that offer swimming, skating, fitness and play opportunities year-round. Multi-use mountain and hiking trails link the mountain tops to the valley bottoms. The communities offer parks, playgrounds, picnic areas and community-gathering spaces for all to enjoy.
