Edson, has 10,000 people, situated midway between Edmonton and Jasper National Park. Hinton, the Gateway to the Rockies, has a population of 10,000 and is 45 minutes from the
mountains. Grande Cache has 4000 people and is situated in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies and is 5 hours from Edmonton.
