Welcome to the Canadian Association of Public Schools – International (CAPS-I) and to our new website!
CAPS-I is setting standards for the care and support of international students studying in school boards across Canada. All of our members are dedicated to making Canada the first choice for parents and students planning a study program abroad at the elementary, junior middle and high school levels.
All of our programs offer exceptionally strong academic programs that can lead students to first rate colleges and universities throughout Canada and around the world. In addition, our member schools provide a holistic learning experience that prepares students to meet life’s challenges.
Many of our international students are involved in a variety of school clubs and sports where they are making long lasting friendships and developing skills that will help them throughout life. Some students have also chosen to take on leadership roles at their school and in the community for which they are often recognized by community leaders and universities who value the well-rounded student.
Also very important for student success is a happy and secure family environment. CAPS-I members therefore take great care in the selection of their homestay providers and host families. Parents and students can be assured that all CAPS-I related homestay programs are well monitored and structured to provide a warm and nurturing environment where students can develop the language and cultural skills they need to succeed abroad.
We understand that studying abroad is a rewarding and challenging experience, and we are asking you to trust a CAPS-I member school to make sure that your experience in Canada is an enriching and successful one.
