CAPS-I Conference 2012

CAPS-I’s 2012 Conference ”International Education: Students in Motion” was held in Vancouver, British Columbia from Sunday, April 29th through to Tuesday, May 1st, 2012.  Over 160 delegates from 65 school boards were in attendance to network and learn with colleagues from across the country.

Over the course of the 2 days, 37 presenters shared their ideas and expertise with CAPS-I members.  Presenters came from across Canada and as far away as Eastern Europe.  For the first time, the conference also offered a one-day ‘homestay strand’ for Homestay Coordinators.  This strand was very popular with 47 Coordinators from 5 different provinces participating.
